Local Association: Brisbane Basketball Association, QLD

WNBL Experience: 7 games

Occupation: Practice Manager of a physiotherapy clinic

Playing Experience: Played BQJBC from U12-U18, SBL and QBL, as well as in the Canadian college system

Involvement in Refereeing: Started refereeing when I was about 12 because I thought it would be a good challenge, and I wanted to learn more about the rules and how they could help me as a player.

Mentors: Barry McLeod has always shown me a great deal of support in my refereeing journey, which helps me to be confident on the floor. His philosophy and understanding of the game is so insightful and helps you to think outside the box. It makes you think about how the game should be refereed to create the best game product possible. Fiona Allen has helped me immensely in entering into the SBL/QBL system providing me with the support and honest feedback to help me transition from the junior to senior state competitions. Lastly since entering the QBL system in 2018, I’ve also had Vaughan Mayberry as a great mentor to my game. His wealth of experience makes him a great information base, and he is also a voice of reason whenever I need to discuss game situations.
