Creek Ambassador for the Lightning

May 7, 2019 | Adelaide Lightning news

The Adelaide Lightning are excited to share that Mitch Creek is officially an ambassador of the Club.

Creek, who played in the NBL for eight seasons, said that he is excited to be an ambassador for the Club, “Adelaide Lightning have a rich history in the South Australian community and I am honoured that they asked me to represent them.”

“I will be helping spread the word about the Lightning and am encouraging all basketball fans to get behind the team and buy a brick in the wall like I have or if you have a bit more cash to splash your name on the home singlet.”

Adelaide Lightning General Manager Mandy Spear said that Mitch was a fantastic choice to be an ambassador for the Club, “South Australia have really embraced Mitch over the past eight years when he was living in Adelaide and are all avidly following his rise into the NBA.”

“Mitch is a high profile athlete and passionate person who wants to help the Club, it makes sense for him to be our ambassador.”

At the end of May, Adelaide Lightning will be auctioning off the four brick spaces adjacent to Mitch’s name, giving the Club an opportunity to raise more funds.
