The 2020 NBL1 Southern Sabre’s debut WNBL season caught the attention of plenty of clubs. The NBL1 South Frankston Blues nailing her signature as part of a superstar front court featuring fellow WNBL big Perth Lynx’s Darcee Garbin.

While the numbers early were not big, the influence can’t be questioned that Batish was having for the Blues. She showed her offensive capabilities knocking 20 points against the Launceston Tornadoes and shot the ball at 42.9 percent with an average of 27 minutes per game. In her 15 games for the season, she finished with 8.80 points at a high clip of 48.62 percent from the field, 4.86 rebounds and 2.06 assists per game. The Blues team she was part of concluded the season in third place where she was a consistent starter on the roster.

Batish’s defence game is in the block so expect some improvements out of the NBL1 season and her game to complement the Lightning’s front court for 2021.
