Steph Talbot re-signs

Adelaide Lightning is extremely excited to have signed Stephanie Talbot for the next four seasons as she makes her return from an ACL injury.

After another amazing year that ended in devastation, it was the clubs priority to bring the face of the franchise back.

GM of Adelaide Lightning Reece Turner describes the signing as vital for the club going forward.

“Steph is as elite as they come and to have her sign for many more years is vital for not only on-court success but what we are continually building in the community.

Steph is an amazing role model to all those who want to strive to be the best at their craft. No one works harder in the WNBL and with all her success she is still an amazing human being and one we needed to keep around in Adelaide”.

Currently in rehabilitation from her ACL injury Talbot will join the Lightning for the upcoming season as an Assistant Coach until she is back on court. Adding to her already very impressive resume, Talbot will work alongside Head Coach Nat Hurst and Assistant Coach Matt Clarke in helping the team succeed on and off the court.
