Fast-finishing Spirit stun Lynx in Perth

Bendigo have stunned Perth Lynx at Bendat Basketball Centre on Saturday night, prevailing 95-74 on the back of a dominant final term.

The Spirit led by just three points at three-quarter time before coming home with a wet sail, piling on 30-12 for their seventh win of the WNBL season.

Import Mehryn Kraker starred with 11 final-quarter points, including three triples, to finish with a game-high 27 to go with five rebounds and five assists.

Centre Ruth Davis (15 points and 10 rebounds) and speedster Ally Wilson (15 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds) both posted double-doubles, with Wilson falling three rebounds shy of a triple-double.

Alicia Froling was also influential, providing her usual spark off the bench on the way to 12 points and five rebounds.

The Spirit have now won three of their last four outings heading into Thursday’s clash against Canberra at Red Energy Arena.
