After claiming their biggest scalp of the season, Bendigo Spirit return to Geelong for a crunch clash against reigning WNBL champions Townsville Fire on Sunday.

It’s the second of two games the Spirit host in Geelong, thanks to the partnership with major partner Transport Accident Commission (TAC).

The team has fond memories of their last visit to Geelong, having defeated Adelaide Lightning in a thriller last month.

Townsville are on top of the WNBL ladder with a 9-3 record, while the Spirit jumped to sixth with their fourth win in seven games after knocking off Melbourne Boomers at Parkville Stadium last weekend.

The Spirit with wear specially designed jerseys featuring road lines inside a yellow sash.

There will also be an all-abilities curtain-raiser ahead of the game.

Alicia Froling is one to watch on Sunday, coming off a player-of-the-round performance against twin sister Keely and the Boomers last week.

Froling starred with a double-double, amassing a game-high 23 points to go with 12 rebounds in a dominant display.
