Thank you, Ruth and Mehryn

Bendigo Spirit would like to thank Ruth Davis and Mehryn Kraker for their contributions to the club over the past season.

Mehryn Kraker joined the Spirit for the 2023/24 season, fulfilling a dream of wanting to play WNBL basketball in Australia.

She was instantly added to the leadership group, showing a quickly gained respect and belief from her teammates.

Coach Kennedy Kereama was full of praise for Kraker both on and off the court.

“Mehryn was a fantastic contributor on the court and was extremely popular with her teammates and the wider Bendigo community.

“We wish Mehryn all the best and wouldn’t rule out that we see her again in the future.

“We have no doubt that her next team will enjoy her skills, passion and energy as much as we did.”

Ruth Davis joined the Spirit after having played 27 games with the Perth Lynx in the 2016-17 season.

Coach Kennedy thanks Ruth and her husband Bradon for their time in Bendigo.
