WNBL announces fixture changes for upcoming season

The Cygnett Women’s National Basketball League has today announced changes to fixture for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

These changes were necessary to allow Australian Opals athletes and coaches, as well as other international athletes from New Zealand, Canada and Japan, the ability to travel to various destinations around the world in February for various FIBA Olympic qualifying tournaments.

The WNBL and clubs collectively agreed to move games from Round 14 up into the back end of Round 13.

Bendigo Spirit’s Round 14 clash against Melbourne at Red Energy Arena has been moved from February 3 to a Tuesday night in Round 13, January 30, at 7pm.
