BOOMERS, SPIRIT AND RANGERS LOCK IN PRE-SEASON GAMES
The WNBL season may still be four months away, but preparations are well underway for #WNBL19 with preseason games being scheduled throughout metro and country Victoria.
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers, Jayco Dandenong Rangers and Bendigo Bank Spirit have all begun announcing their September pre-season match ups, with the regional centres set playing host to an abundance of basketball action.
The match ups will see Ranger Bec Cole face her old side for the first time on September 24th when the Melbourne Boomers host the Dandenong Rangers at Casey Basketball Stadium.
The Melbourne Boomers and Bendigo Spirit have also both committed to a joint regional tour, as announced last month, with the two teams travelling together for three games across Traralgon, Gippsland and Warrigal from September 13th to 16th.
While the Dandenong Rangers will also host the Spirit at home in Dandenong, before the two teams meet again in Shepparton on September 30th.
With the player signings set to continue in the coming weeks as we get closer to launching the 2018-19 season, the competition is primed to continue from its success last season.
