Chemist Warehouse WNBL media accreditation applications now open
With the historic 40th season of the Chemist Warehouse WNBL fast approaching, media accreditation applications are now open via the link below:
The upcoming season will be the continuation of the longest running elite women’s sporting competition in Australia.
The season tips off on October 11, with the season opener set to see Adelaide Lightning host the Sydney Uni Flames.
The league will once again be home to some of the biggest names in women’s basketball, from both Australia and abroad.
Ten of the twelve athletes currently competing in the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup for the Chemist Warehouse Opals will suit up in #WNBL20, including WNBA stars, Steph Talbot, Leilani Mitchell and the recently drafted Ezi Magbegor.
Please note that application submission does not guarantee approval, with all applicants to be notified prior to the season as to whether they have been successful.
Media will need to accept terms and conditions and are subject to approval by Basketball Australia and the Chemist Warehouse WNBL before they receive their accreditation.
Please ensure that you have any Working With Children Check information at the time of application as you will be required to enter the check number to complete the form.
Accreditation is issued and revoked at the discretion of the Chemist Warehouse WNBL Media Manager, as well as league officials and Basketball Australia staff members.
Further questions on media accreditation can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for applications is Friday the 4th of October.
