Cygnett enters third year as Naming Rights Partner of the WNBL
Leading into the 24/25 season, Cygnett is entering its third consecutive year as the naming rights partner of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL).
Joining just before the 22/23 season, Australia’s leading tech accessory brand saw the opportunity to partner with and support a professional women’s sporting league on the rise, and continues to provide it’s support.
“Cygnett is proud to be aligned with the premier women’s basketball competition in Australia, and the incredible female athletes, coaches and staff that are part of it. Our strong three-year commitment aims to empower WNBL athletes by promoting equality in their sport. These athletes are exceptional at what they do and deserve a playing field that’s truly level, with no barriers to their success,” says Jason Carrington, Cygnett CEO.
The partnership highlights Cygnett’s commitment to supporting the growth of women’s sport (they’re also a partner of the Australian Opals), and community impact.
Cygnett’s collaboration with the WNBL has brought additional visibility to the league, enhancing the overall experience for players, fans, and the broader basketball community.
Head of WNBL, Christy Collier-Hill, recognised their ongoing support.
“This partnership highlights a trend in Australian sports partnerships focused on elevating women’s leagues and amplifying their impact on the national stage.
Cygnett’s commitment to supporting women’s basketball has helped elevate our league and bring fans closer to the action. Their ongoing partnership reflects a shared vision of growth and innovation, and we look forward to achieving even more together this season.”
Cygnett and the WNBL are committed to, ensuring the league remains a key pillar in Australian women’s sports and providing a platform for showcasing elite female athletes on a national and global level.
