Experts set to call the action

The WNBL is rolling out Australian basketball’s most respected experts to deliver all the action live from the court. A mix of former Olympians and WNBL champions will deliver every play from the court straight into the loungeroom. This year is expected to be one of the hottest contested seasons on record and the fans won’t miss a piece of the action with games live on Kayo, ABC and Foxtel.

New to the commentary team for this season are former Southside Flyers guard and 2x WNBL champion Stephanie Blicavs and her ex team mate Alison Downie who will join in between her commitments as an AFLW player with Collingwood Football Club.

2 x Olympian, and former Adelaide Lightning player Jenni Screen returns for another season to provide her insight to the game along with Australian Basketball Royalty in 5 x Olympian Andrew Gaze

Lori Chizik, a former WNBL Coach of the Year and Opals Assistant coach and Carrie Graf a 2 x WNBL coach of the year and former Opals coach will also provide their expert knowledge on the telecast..

Providing courtside coverage will be WNBL expert Megan Hustwaite and Australian Opal Legend Rachel Sporn OAM.

All games will be broadcast live on Kayo, Fox Sports and ABC will feature a game of the round live each week on the main channel in the premium 5pm Saturday slot.
