January 8, 2025 | WNBL news

Highly respected referee Kylie Voevodin will officiate her 200th WNBL game this Saturday, as the Townsville Fire host the Southside Flyers.

Voevodin began officiating the WNBL in 2001 and has enjoyed an exceptional 23-year career, highlighted by numerous WNBL Finals. She becomes only the third WNBL referee to reach the 200-game milestone, joining Sharon Arnold (201 games) and Jason Kelly (250 games).

Speaking on her milestone, Voevodin stated “Over the past 23 seasons, I’ve had the privilege of stepping onto the court to support and uphold the integrity of this amazing sport.”

“From the intense rivalries to the buzzer-beaters and everything in between, this journey has been one of growth, challenges, and unforgettable moments. I’m grateful for the friendships forged, the lessons learned, and the opportunities to be part of such a remarkable league.”

The WNBL proudly congratulates Kylie Voevodin on this outstanding accomplishment.
