WNBL Round 11 illuminated a splendid display of talent, passion, and fierce competition. With an even larger attendance than the preceding round, Round 11 has now set a new record for the highest crowd in the WNBL in the last 10 years!

 

Game 1: Bendigo vs. Adelaide – Wednesday, 10 Jan 2024

In an electrifying clash at Red Energy Arena, the Bendigo Spirit soared to victory against the Adelaide Lightning with a convincing score of 96-68. Abbey Wehrung’s standout performance, contributing 18 points, led Bendigo to a dominant win, highlighting the team’s depth with an impressive 38 bench points.

 

Game 2: Melbourne vs. Townsville – Wednesday, 10 Jan 2024

The Townsville Fire secured their spot in the WNBL semi-finals with a commanding 69-57 win over the Melbourne Boomers. Sami Whitcomb’s stellar display, registering 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, fueled the Fire’s momentum, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the league.
