Perth Lynx secure their Grand Final hopes; defeating the Townsville Fire

It was an intense game from the beginning as the Perth Lynx and Townsville Fire headed into game two of their semi-final series.

From the get-go, the Lynx overpowered the Fire for the duration of the game. Eventually securing their second Grand Final in three years by defeating the Fire 108 to 102.

Key performers included Sami Whitcomb and Courtney Woods of the Townsville Fire. As well as the Perth Lynx’s Ami Atwell and Aari McDonald, who was the Player of the Game with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 11 assists.

With one more game of the Boomers v Flyers semi-final series to go; the Perth Lynx are yet to know their fate as to who they will face in the Grand Final.
