Geelong scored another home floor win over the Adelaide Lightning on Sunday afternoon, and with it came some big moments from the teams inaugural signing, Jaz Shelley.

Starting on the bench for the home clash, Jaz injected some big energy whenever she hit the floor recording 8 points, 5 rebounds and an assist, plus a spectacular defensive block when the game was in the balance towards the end of the third.

Shelley’s 8 points also included two big triples, both coming at critical moments of the game to thwart a potential Adelaide comeback.

Up next, we head to SBC to take on the Flyers, with Head Coach Chris Lucas looking to get the team’s first road win, “I think our challenge as a team is: can we perform away from home? I was really happy with our mental approach (going) into this game. Now our challenge as a team is to move that onto the road.”
