HANNAH HANK EXERCISES EUROPEAN OUT CLAUSE

After one season with Geelong United Basketball’s WNBL team, Hannah Hank has made the decision to exercise the European out clause in her contract, opting to make the move to Poland to join KS Basket for their upcoming 25/26 season.
During her short time here in Geelong, Hannah has been a fantastic addition to Geelong basketball community, and has shown outstanding growth both on and off the court. Hannah’s hard work and dedication has been rewarded recently through Australian selection with the Gangarrus in 3×3 competition, and we look forward to seeing Hannah continue to thrive on the world stage.
“We’re really pleased for Hannah,” said GUB’s General Manager of Pathways and NBL1 Women’s head coach, Megan Moody. “This is a great opportunity for her, and a well deserved one. We thank Hannah for her contributions throughout our first WNBL season, and hope to see her back in a Geelong jersey again in the near future.”
Speaking via the official Instagram account of her new Polish team (@ksbasket), Hannah says she’s super excited for this new opportunity. “I’m definitely looking forward to coming over to Poland, meeting my coach after some great conversations, and meeting my teammates. I’ve never been to Poland so I have a lot to look forward to.”
Hannah will continue to play out the remainder of the NBL1 season here in Geelong before departing, with the team currently enjoying a perfect 10-0 start to the season.
