Boomers Searching For Game Day Crew

August 3, 2018 | Melbourne Boomers news

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are busy preparing for another bumper WNBL season and currently have a number of volunteer opportunities and game day presentation roles.

More than 35 volunteers and game day presenters represent Melbourne’s WNBL club at every home game, taking on a number of vital roles that help to deliver an outstanding product and enjoyable experience for Members and supporters.

According to Boomers GM Justin Nelson the available opportunities “present the chance for people to build their experience in event management and sports entertainment.”

“The roles we currently have available are very important to the product we deliver at our games, but equally they are fun and form part of an off-court team that really enjoys being a part of the action,” added Nelson.

To apply for the following positions, applicants should be over the age of 18 and are encouraged to email a letter of interest and a short snapshot of experience to events@melbourneboomers.com.au

Applicants need to be available between October to February and prepared to attend games on weekends.

Deakin Melbourne Boomers are committed to providing an environment that encompasses equality, inclusion, diversity, health and well-being.
