Friday On Our Mind – Boomers Family Day At SBC
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers will swing open the doors at the State Basketball Centre this Friday with members and fans welcome to join the team for a number of activities.
Junior players and coaches are encouraged to attend an open training session between 11am and 12pm, with the Boomers players on court going through a number of skills and drills. Guy Molloy and his coaching staff will also be on hand to speak with grassroots coaches.
At 1pm, all full-season junior members (registration required) are invited to attend a FREE Super Clinic with Lauren Jackson and all the Boomers players. To register you must be a full-season junior member – go to www.trybooking.com/XKCU

From 3pm it’s family time with everyone welcome to meet the team for autographs and photos. All Boomers supporters, returning or new, are encouraged to come along between 3-4pm to speak with their favourite players, check out the new season merchandise and, if not already, sign up as a member for the coming Chemist Warehouse WNBL season.
