It was announced earlier in the week that Boomers Coach, Guy Molloy, has signed an extension to his contract and will now lead the Boomers for a further year, taking him through to the end of the 2019/20 WNBL season.

MEMBERSHIP NEWS
Melbourne’s WNBL team this week burst through the 2,500 Member barrier, taking the Club to the very top of the league when it comes to membership. It is expected the number will continue to rise past 2,600 – a figure that will double last season’s 1,300 membership base.

PARKING & TRAFFIC AT SBC
Parking at the State Basketball Centre is free. The Boomers have also been working with VicRoads during the off-season and are pleased to announce a longer exit sequence has been installed for games. The traffic lights at the corner of High Street Road and George Street will allow for more traffic flow out of the stadium after every game.

GAME DAY TIMES
The ticket desk at Boomers home games will always open 2 hours prior to tip-off, while the doors to the court will open 1 hour prior to the start of the game.

MEET THE PLAYERS
Haven’t been to a Boomers game before? Get set for something very special at the end of the game. At every Boomers home game the players stay on court for up to 45min to meet all the fans for photos and autographs. It’s proudly presented by ANZ.
