Deakin Melbourne Boomers Launch BEST TEAM TRAINING EVER For Junior Teams

In a uniquely different membership drive, the Deakin Melbourne Boomers have opened up 48 opportunities for junior basketball teams across Melbourne to become valuable members of the club and also attend the State Basketball Centre to enjoy an exclusive training session with a senior Boomers player. Team Training Offer.001 The training sessions will see each team train with a Boomers senior player - such as Bec Cole, Maddie Garrick, Louella Tomlinson, Jenna O'Hea and Britt Smart. This exciting initiative will also see nearly 500 junior basketballers join Melbourne's growing membership base. "It's a really exciting initiative and one that further enhances our focus on connecting grassroots with the elite," said Boomers GM, Justin Nelson. "We work extremely hard at grassroots level, especially with all the junior girls out there. Having role models and connecting with the stars of the game are really important aspects of our work right across the basketball community." "We want to provide really unique opportunities. Imagine the feeling amongst a junior team when they step on court to train with Britt Smart - that's just something the players will never forget," added Nelson. The Best Team Training Ever initiative will see the lucky 48 teams receive 10 junior season memberships - one for each player in the team, including full membership packs, the coach and team manager will receive two VIP sidelines seats to one home game, plus the team will get to train with a senior Boomers player.
