LIVE BASKETBALL IS BACK IN MELBOURNE

November 29, 2021 | Melbourne Boomers news

On Saturday 11 December the Deakin Melbourne Boomers will play their first LIVE game in Melbourne in over 18-months.

Pitted against cross-town rivals and current champions the Southside Flyers, it should be an absolute cracker of an event.

You can also get up close and personal with Boomers and Australian Opals stars, Cayla George, Ezi Magbegor and Tess Madgen, as they look to take out this year’s WNBL Championship.

Boomers General Manager, Christy Collier-Hill, urged everyone to get along to the games this season.

“After the hub season last year, we’re so excited to be playing in Melbourne again, back in front of our home fans.

“We’ve also got the most dynamic roster I’ve seen – genuine superstars of basketball. So if you want to see some of the best in the world, get along to our games.

“They’re not just great basketballers – they’re great people – exceptional role models for our kids.

“We also offer an exciting and entertaining game day experience, with plenty for the kids and adults. It’s a fantastic day out at a Boomers game, whether you’re a basketball lover or not!”

Tickets are on sale now for all Boomers home games* in the upcoming WNBL 21-22 season. So grab your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours, and get down to support #YourTeamMelbourne.
