Double-Header Preview: Adelaide & Melbourne
It’s the final round of the 2019/20 WNBL season, and the Perth Lynx are on the road to take on the Adelaide Lightning and Melbourne Boomers.
The Lynx sit one position outside the top-four, but regardless of the weekend’s results won’t be able to break into a finals position.
Alison Schwagmeyer-Belger remains out of the side for both games after failing to recover from a foot injury.
Development player Hayley Winter has travelled with the team for her first road games of the season.
The first game of the double is on Thursday, with the Lynx facing the Lightning in Adelaide.
The fourth-placed Lightning are led by Brianna Turner who averages 17.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game
Tip-off on Thursday is at 4.30pm and can be streamed via the WNBL website.
Perth then head to Melbourne to face the Boomers on Saturday for their final outing of the year.
Melbourne are second on the ladder.
Lindsay Allen is their leading scorer with 15.3 per game.
