Lynx stars honoured with WNBL Awards

Perth Lynx stars Katie Ebzery and Alison Schwagmeyer-Belger have been honoured with WNBL End of Season Awards.
A week after claiming her first Perth Lynx MVP, Katie Ebzery was named to the All-WNBL First Team.
The exciting play-maker and scorer was named alongside Kia Nurse, Brianna Turner, Leilani Mitchell and Jenna O’Hea.
Meanwhile Alison Schwagmeyer-Belger was named the competition’s Best Sixth Woman.
Schwagmeyer-Belger was the clear winner ahead of Melbourne Boomers duo Kalani Purcell and Stella Beck.
The dynamic guard averaged 15.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
Players that have started in more than 50 per cent of games are not eligible for Sixth Woman of the Year.
