December 12, 2019 | Perth Lynx news

The Perth Lynx return to the Bendat Basketball Centre to take on the Melbourne Boomers on Sunday.

Perth will be looking to snap a four-game slump when they faced the third-placed Boomers, who have picked up the W in four of their last five.

The two sides met just a week earlier in Melbourne, with the Boomers prevailing 63-72 with a strong defensive performance down the stretch.

Alison Schwagmeyer-Belger was the Lynx best with 13 points while Maddie Allen had 12.

Imani McGee-Stafford had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double in her second game back from injury.

Melbourne boast an array of talent and are led by Lindsay Allen in scoring, who adds 16.8 per game.

Opal Cayla George puts up 14.0 while Maddie Garrick averages 12.5.

A win for the Perth Lynx is crucial as the look to stay in touch with the top-four.

Tip-off on Sunday is at 1pm.
