Perth Lynx vs UC Capitals – Semi Finals Game one Preview

The Perth Lynx are in Canberra to take on the UC Capitals on Friday night, in game one of the best-of-three semi-finals series.

The game kickstarts the 2018/19 Chemist WNBL Finals Series, with the Melbourne Boomers hosting the Adelaide Lightning in their own series starting on Sunday afternoon.

Perth and Canberra met three times through the regular season, with a 2-1 series win going to the Lynx.

Game one – 10  November 2018 @ Perth.

Ali Schwagmeyer said the team was disappointed with their last performance against Canberra, and didn’t play their usual style of game.

“We weren’t ourselves for about three or four games straight there, and that was the last one before we starting getting to be ourselves again and finding our identity,” she said.

“It will actually be pretty exciting to play them, because last time we weren’t ourselves.”
