June 19, 2020 | Perth Lynx news

2019/20 Perth Lynx Co-Captain Katie Ebzery will be staying in Perth for WNBL season 2020/21. Last season’s Lynx MVP and WNBL All First Team player will give new Head Coach Ryan Petrik a massive boost to his team, on and off the court, with her exceptional basketball skills and leadership ability.

Petrik ran out of superlatives when talking about the star guard, “Everyone in the country knows that Katie is an incredibly talented player, but she also has one of the highest basketball IQs I’ve ever been around.”

“Katie’s work ethic is phenomenal and her attention to detail is second to none. The pairing of Ebzery and Whitcomb will not only provide fans with some exciting basketball, it sets the standard for our program off the court as well.”

Ebzery is likewise looking forward to working with Petrik and calling Perth home for another season. “I’m really happy to be staying in Perth, there’s some really exciting talent on the roster and I have a great relationship with Ryan after working with him for the last two seasons.”

Ebzery joins Sami Whitcomb on the Lynx roster for WNBL season 2020/21, with more exciting roster announcements coming soon. Details about 2020/21 season memberships will be available soon.
