Thank you, Aari McDonald and Emily Potter

Perth Lynx would like to thank Aari McDonald and Emily Potter for their services to the club.
McDonald starred in her debut season in the WNBL, winning Perth Lynx’s MVP award and competition’s Scoring Champion despite missing multiple weeks with a knee injury.
The American guard and WNBA star averaged a team-high 20.7 points and 6.3 assists per game on the way to All-WNBL Second Team honours.
Fellow import Potter also spent one season with the Lynx, having a huge presence as a centre.
The Canadian international featured 26 times last season, averaging 12 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
She amassed seven double-doubles including 26 points and 11 rebounds against Adelaide and 22 and 13 against Southside.
Perth Lynx general manager Samantha Macpherson paid tribute to the pair for their contribution to the club and wished them the best for the next chapter.
“We couldn’t have been happier with what Aari produced on court last season,” Macpherson said.
“To win our MVP and the WNBL’s Scoring Champion award, despite missing eight games through injury, shows just how dominant Aari was.
“Em was another consistent performer on our grand final roster, having an impact at both ends of the floor with her rebounding and offensive prowess.
“We wish both players nothing but the best for the next chapter in their basketball journey.”
