The Perth Lynx would like to thank Tessa Lavey for her contributions to the club, after it was today announced she has signed with the Dandenong Rangers for the 2017/18 WNBL season.
Lavey was one of the first players signed by the Perth Lynx when the club launched as a new look franchise, and led the team as captain for both of her seasons in Perth.
She made 49 appearances for the Lynx, averaging 8.6 points, 3.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game.
The 23-year-old was one of two Lynx players selected in the Australian Opals Squad for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, alongside Natalie Burton.
The Perth Lynx would like to thank Tessa Lavey for her contributions and impact on the organisation as a player and leader, and wish her the best for the upcoming season.
