Toni Farnworth has been named in the New Zealand Tall Ferns team that will compete at the upcoming Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Co-captain of the Perth Lynx in 2017-18, Farnworth most recently represented the Tall Ferns at the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup, averaging 7.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
The 30-year-old has been a staple of the New Zealand national team since making her international debut in 2008.
Basketball was most recently included in the Commonwealth Games in 2006, when the Tall Ferns claimed the silver medal.
Farnworth and the New Zealand Tall Ferns open their Gold Coast Commonwealth Games campaign against Malaysia on Thursday 5 April.
