Local Association: Eltham Basketball Association, VIC
WNBL Experience: 21 games
Occupation: Project & Facility Manager – Building & Construction
Playing Experience: Junior Rep for Eltham up until age of 15, then realised I was too short to ‘make it’ turned my focus to reffing. Play local A Grade Domestic into early 20’s
Involvement in Refereeing: Broke my arm at 12y which led to loss of left hand dribble & shot skills, never made Vic Champ afterwards – turned to reffing as was too short and was better at reffing!
Mentors: My best mates are all from basketball.
Being able to bounce ideas, plays and calls off each other has been the biggest development to my career. Heading away to tournaments and developing new friendships has also been key to continuing a strong love for the game.
