Exciting Young Talent Joins the Flyers
Welcome Manuela ‘Manny’ Puoch
In exciting news for the Flyers, Manuela Puoch, one of the most exciting young players, who has enjoyed a very successful junior career, is set to join the Flyers for the next two seasons.
‘Manny’ is a local Dandenong junior player, having played all her junior basketball with Dandenong, and was part of the Dandenong Rangers NBL1 team in her first season of senior basketball this year.

The younger sister of Nyadiew Puoch, Manny is looking forward to being part of the Flyers team to continue her development.
“It is very exciting to be joining the Flyers. I have obviously seen them play many times and am really looking forward to being part of the team and learning from Kristi Harrower and the players.
“Even before starting with the Flyers I have been given wonderful support and am really looking forward to starting my WNBL career,” Manny said this week.
Flyers Coach Kristi Harrower is very pleased to have such an exciting young talent joining the Flyers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Manny to the Flyers. We believe she has an exciting career ahead of her and we are looking forward to working with her to continue her development to become the very best player she can.
“We have a real focus on development for all the players, from 17 year old Manny through to our senior players, we never stop learning and developing,” Kristi said.
Manny will be part of the Flyers team playing in the HoopsFest pre-season tournament in Perth later this month. She will wait until completing her Year 12 studies before joining the Flyers full-time prior to the season.
