TIME TO GIVE JENNA THE FAREWELL SHE DESERVES

Jenna O’Hea will play her final WNBL home game on Thursday night, March 10 at Dandenong Stadium. This is the chance for Flyers fans, and all basketball supporters, to be at the game to say thank you to a great of the game and give Jenna the farewell she deserves.

Earlier in the week Jenna announced she would retire at the end of the current WNBL season after one of the most distinguished careers in Australian basketball. Thursday night’s game will be her last in Melbourne with the final two games of the season being played interstate.

The inaugural captain of Southside Flyers, Jenna led the team to the 2020 WNBL Championship the third Championship of her WNBL career. She is a six time WNBL All Star and of course was captain of the Opals.

Jenna has played 296 WNBL games, as well as playing in the WNBA and in France, and is a dual Olympian.

There is no doubting her standing as one of Australia’s most successful basketball players, and Thursday night is the chance for the Melbourne basketball family to be at Dandenong Stadium to say thank you and acknowledge her wonderful career.

Congratulations to Maddy Rocci who will play her 100th WNBL game on Thursday night.
