Flyers Coach, Kristi Harrower worked with Paige at the Boomers last season and knows what a quality person she is and believes she has a bright future.

“Development of individual players and the team is a focus for the Flyers going forward and having worked with Paige last season I know how hard she works and the determination she has to continue to improve her game. I also know what a quality young person she is, and we are about people with good character.

“Our goal is for Paige to continue to develop her game and be part of the Flyers roster next season. That is what the Development Player position is about, the opportunity to work with the best players and secure a roster spot in the future,” Kristi said.

Paige made her WNBL debut with the Deakin Melbourne Boomers in season 2022 and shined on the 2023 Australian Under 19 National Team at the U19 FIBA World Cup in Spain. She was also crowned Knox Raiders Player of the Year in 2023.

A quote from Paige in an interview last season is an example of her determination to continue to improve on and off the court.

“My advice to younger athletes would be to not go through the motions, if you want to get better you have to do the work,” Paige said when asked about advice for young athletes.
