GAME TIME
The 2024/25 Cygnett WNBL season starts in Perth for the Flyers with a rematch of last season’s Grand Final series against Perth Lynx.
While it is a so called ‘rematch’ it is a completely different Flyers team to the one that took out the Championship in March. No matter what happens in future games, it is the Flyers who were the Champions.
The Flyers have made six changes to the roster, together with a new coach and new assistant coach. While it is a new look team, facing a new challenge, the goal is the same.
Naz Hillmon, Alice Kunek, Mikki Vaughn, Tayah Burrows and Manuela Puoch will wear the Flyers colours for the first time, with another recruit Tera Reed sitting out the game with an ankle injury. She will make her Flyers debut in Thursday’s game away game against Geelong United, or next Saturday night in the Flyers first home game of the season.
