ACT Sport to honour former Flames coach Graff

Former Sydney Flames coach Carrie Graf is set to be inducted into the ACT Sport Hall of Fame for her dedication to basketball and women’s sport in Canberra.
ACT Deputy Chief Minister, Yvette Berry MLA, announced Graf, who coached the Flames from 1993-1996, as one of four new inductees to be welcomed this year, celebrated for excellence in their field and their contribution to our sporting community.

Joining Graff as this year’s ACT Sport Hall of Fame inductees are full members Katrina Fanning (rugby league) and Brad Haddin (cricket) and associated member Ron Harvey (basketball).
All four will be formally inducted at the 2024 CBR Sport Awards event to be held on November 27 at Belconnen Arts Centre.
Minister for Sport and Recreation Yvette Berry congratulated the inductees and said it was great to see two more women inducted into the ACT Sport Hall of Fame.

“Each year the ACT Sport Hall of Fame inducts a select group of people who have been nominated by their sport for their achievements and enormous contribution, making our community proud and adding yet another chapter to our community’s rich sporting history,” said Minister Berry in a statement.
