December 14, 2017 | Sydney Flames news

This Saturday, Flames Captain, Belinda Snell will be celebrating her 300th WNBL game. Snell, a triple Olympian and former World Champion has achieved so much in her career. She has won multiple WNBL championships, along with a WNBA (USA) championship and a Euroleague title.

This season Snell has continued to dominate. She has been named in Team of the Week twice, is averaging 14ppg, 6.2rpg and 4.9apg and is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

“Playing in the WNBL has been such a privilege and honour…it has played a huge part in my development as a player and had a major role in being selected to play for Australia,” Snell said.

“I have enjoyed many wonderful experiences along the way.  Being a part of the WNBL has helped me grow as a person and I value the many friendships I have made throughout the league.”

Always humble and willing to share her extensive basketball knowledge with the young girls, the team are excited to share this momentous occasion with their Captain.

Don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate such an impressive milestone for one of Australia’s most accomplished basketball stars!
