This set up a semi-final showdown with Queensland, which they triumphed in 79-69.

This saw NSW advance to the big dance, against the only side that had handed them defeat in Geelong, hosts Victoria.

But thanks to a game-high 24 points by Donnelly, NSW prevailed in the decider 71-61 to secure the national title.

The pair will now return to Sydney, ahead of the Flames’ first-ever Pink Round fixture against Adelaide on Friday at Quaycentre, with tickets still available via here.
