Flames Return to Brydens

October 12, 2017 | Sydney Flames news

The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames will look to carry momentum from their victory against the Perth Lynx in Round One when they take on the Dandenong Rangers this weekend.

After a tough road double, where the Flames built up quite a few frequent flyer points on their way to Adelaide and Perth, the team are excited for their first home game of their 2017/18 WNBL campaign.

“It’s exciting to have our first home game of the season a grand final replay!  We need all Sydney fans supporting us in what is sure to be a thrilling and physical encounter,” Flames captain Belinda Snell said.

The last time the Flames played at Brydens Stadium was Game 1 of the 2016/17 Grand Final, where they defeated the Rangers on their way to claiming the WNBL Championship.

The night will get underway early with the Brydens Sydney Uni Flames Season Launch at 5:30pm, followed by the 2016/17 Championship Banner raising ceremony just prior to the 7pm tip-off.
