This is the second time Garlepp, who is also the Harvey Norman Future Flames program director, has won this NBL1 East award.

During the 2024 campaign, which saw the Bears knocked out at the semi-final stage by Sutherland, the Bears team featured Future Flames Caitlyn Martin and Carla Pitman – who were both shortlisted for 2024 NBL1 East awards.
