Good luck to our Flames at the World University Games

We are only days away until the Napoli 2019 Summer Universiade, known to many as World University Games, an international multi-sport event run by FISU (International University Sports Federation).

From 3-14 July 2019, 184 student-athletes from 65 different universities will compete across 14 different sports representing Australia. Of that 184, the University of Sydney will contribute a 16-strong contingent.

Signed with the Sydney Uni Flames for the upcoming 2019/20 season are Bachelor of Education (Health and Physical Education) student and current Elite Athlete Program member, Lara McSpadden, and 2019 Brydens Sydney Uni Flames recruit, Lauren Scherf (Victoria University). Both girls are hoping to repeat the Emerging Opals gold-medal win at the 2017 Games.
