Hamson and Taylor named in Round 5 Team of the Week
Jen Hamson and Asia Taylor have been named in the Round 5 WNBL Team of the Week following outstanding performances from the Flames centre and forward.
Both Hamson and Taylor played integral roles in the Flames two victory’s over the University of Canberra Capitals last weekend.
Jen Hamson averaged a double-double in Round 5 with 11.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Hamson was also a great defensive presence averaging 4.5 blocks.
For the second week in a row, Asia Taylor has been named in the WNBL Team of the Week.
Asia continued to dominate offensively, averaging 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds across the two contests.
Watch Jen, Asia and their teammates battle it out against the Melbourne Boomers, this Saturday at 3pm. The game will be televised live on Fox Sports from Brydens Stadium.
