Hoops Capital off-season wrap (March 11)
With both the WNBL and NBL seasons now wrapped up, all of the Sydney Flames and Kings players are shifting their focus to the off-season with their new teams – all around Australia and the world.
As a way to keep up with what all of them are doing, each Monday Hoops Capital will publish a weekly wrap of how their players are performing in their respective competitions.
In this week’s edition, we will start with Flames guard Lauren Nicholson.
During the past week, Flame #132 made her debut for Spar Girona in Spain, tallying two points, three rebounds, three blocks and one assist during her side’s 74-54 loss to Spain in the Liga Femenina Endesa.
A few days later, Nicholson – playing 32 minutes – added 13 points, three boards, two dimes and one block in her side’s tight 66-62 loss to Avenida Perfumerias.
Next up for Nicholson is a clash with IDK Gipuzkoa on March 16.
