Echoing the 24-year-old’s sentiments was coach O’Toole, who believes Hurst’s addition to the Hawks line-up provides them with a strong balance to the team.

“We’re incredibly lucky to be able to bring Ahlise into our club,” O’Toole said to Hawks Media.

“She has been on our radar for a long time now and recent circumstances finally allowed us to get the player that we wanted.”
