Martin and Anderson make Flames debut
Sydney had two more players add their names to the all-time Flames list on Wednesday, during the club’s round three fixture with Bendigo.
During the Quaycentre match, NSW juniors Caitlyn Martin (Norths Bears) and Piper Anderson (Sydney Comets) both hit the court for the first time in the WNBL.
As such, Martin, who had two rebounds and one assist in the game, is now Flame #229, while Anderson is #230.

The pair’s Hoops Capital side now go interstate for a two-game road trip, starting with Adelaide on November 20, followed by Perth on November 23.
The Flames’ next home game in on Saturday, November 30 at Quaycentre against Geelong for the first time – tipping off at 4.45pm.
