Molloy’s Flames aim for quick rebound against Lightning

After a tough road trip, in which the Sydney Flames split and went 1-1, the Hoops Capital side is looking forward to returning to the winner’s circle on Sunday.
Coach Guy Molloy believes a quick turnaround, after Wednesday’s defeat, is exactly what the team needs.
“All the players are keen to get back out there, especially on our home court,” Molloy said in Wednesday’s post-game press conference.
“We’ve now had a number of away games, so it’ll be nice to be back in a familiar environment.”

That clash with pit them against the Adelaide Lightning, a team that got the better of the Flames back in round four.
But coach Guy Molloy knows his group has grown plenty since then and will be ready come Sunday at Quaycentre.
“Our group continues to grow and if we play the Flames basketball we’ve been practising at training, I’m confident we can produce a strong performance [on Sunday],” said Molloy.
Tickets to the round eight clash, in which the club will celebrate Christmas, are still available here.
