Nicholson nominated for second Defensive Player of the Year award

The award nominations keep coming for Sydney Flames star Lauren Nicholson, after being announced as one of the finalists for the WNBL24 Defensive Player of the Year award.

This nomination comes on the back of the Sutherland junior being shortlisted for both the MVP and Fans MVP earlier in the week.

Nicholson, who previously won the award in 2019 while with Adelaide, is joined by Lara McSpadden (Community Award), Guy Molloy (Coach of the Year) and Emma Clarke (Sixth Women) as Flames nominated for a WNBL24 award – which will be announced during Sunday’s presentation in Melbourne.
