Shanae Greaves celebrates her 150th WNBL game

Sunday’s loss to Melbourne Boomers wasn’t the result the Flames were after but there was still reason to celebrate with power forward Shanae Greaves tallying her 150th WNBL game in front of home fans at Brydens Stadium.

Hailing from Victoria, Greaves started her WNBL career with the Melbourne Boomers in the 2013/14 WNBL season. She played three seasons with the Boomers, before moving to Sydney to join the Flames during their 2016/17 Championship winning season, now enjoying her fourth straight year with the club.

The 26-year-old has shot at 39.3% from the field over her career and has scored over 400 points.

“The opportunity to play WNBL was something I always dreamed about as a kid. It is something I will be grateful for in years to come, not only for the on court experiences, but also the people I’ve met and memories made off the court too,” Greaves said.
