Following her debut WNBA season, the Ohio State alum joined Guy Molloy’s Hoops Capital side, playing a pivotal role in ending their seven-year finals drought.
Taylor, who averaged 10.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and three assists during her first WNBL season, is grateful for the time she’s spent in Sydney, in helping elevate her game to another level.
“First and foremost, I’m super excited for the opportunity again with Phoenix and extremely blessed,” Taylor said.
“Being with the Flames has allowed me to work on a lot of different things this off-season like build up my aggression offensively while also allowing me to step into a leadership role that I will need to carry with me.
“I have had an amazing time playing with my Flames teammates and learning from my coaching staff.
“I’m excited to see what this season has in store for me.”
Taylor’s Mercury, which also features former Sydney Kings assistant Fleur McIntyre at the team’s assistant general manager, will tip off the 2025 WNBA regular season at home on Saturday, May 17 against the Seattle Storm.
