Flames Return Home for Round 5

After a six day turnaround the Flames headed south to Canberra to face the UC Captials for the second time in the same week. The Flames were on the hunt to secure their second consecutive win of the season however the UC Captials proved to be too good at home securing the win, 91-66. Alice Kunek and Jessica Kuster led the charge putting up 17 and 16 points respectively.

Leaving that performance behind, the Flames will return to Brydens Stadium on Thursday for Student Round. Tip off it at 7pm. This round is a celebration of our students in the game and as a special, we are offering FREE tickets to all University of Sydney students (show ID upon arrival).

Before the game a 3ON3 competition for both men’s and women’s will be running. If that isn’t enough to entice you, the grand final will be played at half time of the main Flames game. To register your team email Sarah at s.graham@sport.usyd.edu.au.
